Flash is dead
Sadly, many of these reviewers are either too new or just don't recognize this work as classic animator David Firth's (of Salad Finger fame). I remember watching his stuff in late elementary school and loving it. Still is genius.
Unfortunately, like the theatre, flash animation as an entertainment medium that reflects on existentialism and the human condition maybe dead.
IDK what to say
First off, you don't have to be a fan of Rancid to know who Operation Ivy were. They were very influential to punk/ska genre altogether.
As for the flash? It was interesting. I don't see to many flashes like this. What I mean is It was very unique and had great style but I think it needed a little bit mrore work put into it. The chalk style and speed of this video is what really caught my attention but It was very repetitive and a little choppy. Anyway 7/10 because I like Operation Ivy.
God damn. . .
I'm surprised. The art in this flash was actually pretty good. But there is one problem. You used fucking stick figures.
I noticed that many of the backgrounds and other things were well drawn and detailed. But the characters were all sticks which kind of makes an illusion that you are not a good animator. By the look of this video I say that you have alot of potential. Try drawing actual characters. You may surprise yourself. Thst way you can eventually come up with your own style. Even if they turn out shit it's better than sticks.
This was good back in the day but now I like that remake.
